Mr. Decker is a very busy guy, from coaching right after work then family time. He is a very active guy who loves working with children off and on the field. He is a teacher that wants to see you succeed. He’s been teaching 11 years and has been coaching football for 14 years.
As a child Mr. Decker also known as Coach Decker grew up in a small town near Steamboat Springs, na
med Milner. Growing up in the footsteps of his dad he learned to love being outside fishing, camping, and four wheeling. On the weekends he enjoyed going to watch his dad coach his hometown wrestling and track team. In high school Mr. Decker found inspiration in his football coach who helped him improve his football skills as a linebacker. On the weekends as a high school student Mr. Decker hung out with friends and practiced sports with his four best friends. All through high school his four best friends all worked in constructions as a laborer.
During his college years Mr. Decker first wanted to major in computer graphics but as the years went on he realized he wanted to be a teacher and work with students and coach kids on and off the field so he majored in physical education and minored in computer graphics and personal fitness. Now a days Coach Decker spends time with his 2 kids and still loves being outside sun, snow, and rain.
My experience with Mr. Decker is a great one. I have a total of three classes with him throughout my day and I enjoy all on them. He makes them exiting and entertaining with challenging obstacles that take thinking and practice to overcome. Mr. Decker is a great person and I hope many people get inspired from him and learn many things.
