Yes! It finally started! Baseball season has arrived. America’s pastime is here! March 31st, 2011, was the opening day to the season with the two teams, LA Dodgers and San Francisco Giants starting it off. They played four games.
From the 31st to the 3rd of April, Dodgers and Giants played against each other with a game each day. Dodgers won the first, second, and fourth game while the Giants only won the third. First game’s score was 2-1 Dodgers up, second game was 4-3 Dodgers up, third game was 10-0 Giants up, and fourth game was 7-5 Dodgers up. I was so excited watching all four of the games, watching the Giants lose!
But then, Dodgers and Rockies played on Tuesday the 5th and on Wednesday the 6th. Though this time, I was rooting for the Rockies. And they won both games! On Tuesday, the score was 3-0 Rockies up and on Wednesday the score was 7-5 Rockies again! Both Tulowitzki and Ianneta hit homeruns on Tuesday. Hopefully both the Dodger’s and the Rockie’s seasons go well! And the Yankees stink. 😉
