Leo Messi was born on June 27, 1987 in Rosario Argentina. Messi played for his dad’s soccer team but Messi’s dad thought he was too talented and he then switched to a more advanced team. Messi wasn’t as tall as the other kids because he was diagnosed with a hormone deficiency and required daily expensive injections. The Messis could not afford the treatment that Leo needed so that’s when his professional career took off.
