Tebow Time!!!
Tim Tebow, the starting Quarterback for the Denver Broncos has quite the underdog story. He started the season as the third string Quarterback, and a big question about if he would ever be the starter. About in the middle of the season, John Fox (the coach of the Denver Broncos) gave him a chance to start. The decision would later pay off. Tim Tebow took the 1-4 Broncos to a possible Playoff record of 7-5 with winning 5 straight games. This is an amazing change of story. He has started the season a third string Quarterback and now secured a starting spot with the firing of Kyle Orton, the previous starter.
Tebow has taken the nation by storm. He has been #6 in jersey sales for over a year. And remember planking? Well, now the people are “Tebowing”. “Tebowing” is where you get down on one knee, put your elbow on the upright knee, and with that same arm and put you hand on your forehead in a fist. It seems wherever we look Tebow is there. TV commercials, newspapers, etc. He really has gone a long way.
Broncos are very close to going to the playoffs for the first time in six years. They are tied with the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West. Now it’s a race to see who will make it to the playoffs. Now the funny thing about Tebow is, he plays best in the last 3 minutes in the whole game and usually gets a nail biter win or and OT win. OT or 40 point win, a win is a win. And Tim Tebow, is very good at winning!
