Mrs. Burke our crazy and fun science teacher is 31 years old and was born in Littleton Colorado. She has been living in Grand Junction CO for 13 years in two months. This is her 9th year of teaching in Colorado. On the weekends and on her free tim,e she like to coach her daughters soccer team. Her daughter is 4 ½ years but has the vocabulary of a 12 year old and the brains of a 4th grader, its crazy but I guess that’s the perks you get when your mom is a science teacher.
She has one 4 1/2 year old daughter with a little boy on the way or as she says “baking a bun in the oven”. Burke has been happily married for 7 ½ years, she met her husband in collage. Her favorite type of shoe is athletic shoes because she likes to go running/walking when she is not coaching. She dose the friends of Rachel club (F.O.R CLUB) which is about the columbine shooting that happened on April 20th 1999.
Her favorite class in high school was science, of course she liked it because of the chemical to see what happens when you mix them together, and the amazement of electricity going through the body when you get shocked by something. She also enjoyed PE because of the athletic movement and the games. Back in her day she played dodge ball and it was still legal, people wouldn’t cry when they got hit in the face with a ball like a baby.
