Ice Bucket Challenge Or Donation?

Ice Bucket Challenge started a while back to raise awareness for ALS or also known as “Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis”. ALS is a disease in which nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control muscles breakdown and don’t work anymore in which has no cure and causes death in all cases.  People that have donated to the cause of ALS has raised over 79.7 million dollars on August 25, 2014, and is still increasing tell this day (Wall Street Journal).

Ice Ice bucket ChallengeBucket Challenge may be all fun and games but can serious lead to death (yahoo) says that a Scottish boy at the age of 18 was doing the ice bucket challenge but had tribally gone wrong the ice bucket was too cold for his body to with stand and had the ice had reacted to his body to fast and had caused him to pretty much freeze to death. So this raise question about how much water and ice should be really dumped over you? There are sources dis-liking the ice bucket challenge because people are just doing it to do it and wonder if they know what ALS really means and should only do it if they truly know, so do you know what ALS is? And should it matter if you don’t know what it is and you are just doing it for the cause and it is fun to do?

Here are the rules for the ice bucket challenge you must complete the challenge before 24 hours of you being nominated. You then must have a decent gallon of bucket or more and must record footage of you doing it. You then must nominate your name and who you are challenging next to do the ice bucket challenge.  Many people shared there ice bucket challenge over Facebook and has had over 1.2 million videos uploaded. Many people question were all of that money goes to finding a cure or what?  And also wonder if celebs. Should be putting in money as well as doing it what do you have to say to all of this?

So to conclude this the ALS challenge or Ice Bucket Challenge is a very wellbeing thing in our society and needs to be more of it. Because with the help of your donation and having the will do to dump water over your head you are actually benefitting the community and helping out doctors in advancing there knowledge on ALS so what will you do next?
