Mountain Biking is better than Road Biking

Mountain Biking is healthier, more fun, safer, and it’s more of a workout. While mountain biking, it’s usually in forest, desert, and mostly not any urban land. It’s also away from any cars and there isn’t going to be a car flying by going 60 mph right next to you. It is also in beautiful areas where there is great views, trees, and sky instead of a bunch of buildings and cars and pollution. 

First of all, it’s a lot safer than riding on the road because of cars and other people. Instead of having dozens of cars flying by you 18 inches away, you fly by trees and rocks at beautiful places with great views. If a car hits you, your going to be a lot more than if you hit a tree. Hitting the asphalt also hurts a lot more than just dirt and other stuff on the trails.  While road biking everything seems to be a race between your friends which could lead to someone getting majorly hurt but while mountain biking, it’s all about having a good time and trying new things. In the city there’s car exhaust and trash and other pollution that isn’t necessarily good for your lungs, but while mountain biking out in nature, your breathing fresh cool air that is a lot better for your lungs.

 

Secondly, it’s more of a workout on the muscles, joints, heart, brain and most other things. Mountain biking gives more oxygen to your blood and improves your blood vessels by dilating them and keeping them clear. It’s also keeps your blood pressure from getting to high and and keeps you from going into hypertension. It’s also better on your lungs and can improve by 25% more than the average person. While mountain biking, instead of just working out a couple muscles, it works almost all your muscles. While mountain biking, you burn about 1000 calories every hour which can improve your metabolic rate which keeps you from getting fat. Reflexes also improve while your dodging rocks, dropping off big rocks, and trying not to crash.

Lastly, mountain biking is just more fun in general. While mountain biking, you have a better attitude during and after it because you enjoyed it. Also flying through the air with nothing touching  the ground at all is one of the best feelings out there. While challenging yourself to do new and more difficult things, it’s the best feeling when you finally do it without crashing or failing miserably. There is so much tricks you can learn too, like a wheelie, suicide no hander, 180, and much more.

In conclusion, mountain biking is better because it’s healthier, more fun and it’s a way better workout. While mountain biking you get to see things you might never have got to see if you were a road biker. It also gets you into a better attitude which is better for the people you see every day. So get out there and experience some good times with your best friends and family.
