Japans Deadly Quake

On March 11th 2011 Japan was hit with a 9 magnitude called “Eastern Japan Great Earthquake Disaster.” The earthquake was just the start of many disasters to come for the country.  The earthquake triggered a tsunami with waves as tall as 124 ft., which killed thousands. The total death toll is 13, 127. 4,793 are injured and more than 14,348 are still missing.  The tsunami happened only minutes after the earthquake and went in land as much as six miles. The tsunami caused the majority of deaths.  This earthquake was the top 5 worst in tjapan-earthquake-wallpapers-2011-2he world.

Disaster struck again when the Nuclear power plant started to fail. Six miles within the power plant was evacuated, and the U.S. recommended evacuating within 50 miles. Three out of the five power plants have suffered explosions due to the cooling system failing.

It has been over a month since the Earthquake and aftershocks are still happening.  Over 900 aftershocks have occurred 60 of them over a 6.0 magnitude. On April 7, 2011 nearly a month later with a 7.4 magnitude killing at least four people.  On April 11, 2011 another 7.0 magnitude killing four more people and seriously injuring three.

Hopefully the Japans finds the missing 14,348 people, get the Nuclear power plant under control and the aftershocks will stop. Although this is the worst thing to have to Japan in a long time, Japan should pick up their feet in no time.
