Ms. Blevins was born in Grand Junction, CO. She is currently a biology teacher at Fruita 8/9.She has lived here all her life, accept in college. When she was young, she had a few jobs in mind. She either wanted to be an ER doctor, marine biologist, or a teacher. Her favorite subject as a kid was biology, who would’ve guessed? Here she is today, a teacher, a teacher of biology! She had a good idea of what she wanted to do when she was young, and followed that dream.

After middle school, Ms. Blevins attended Central High school here in the valley. Once she graduated from high school, she was sure of what she wanted to do for a living. She thought the best college for her was Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She followed her dream of being a Biology teacher. Once out of college, she came back to her home town to start her teaching career. She started out teaching at Fruita Monument High school, but later on came to teach at Fruita 8/9.

Although Ms. Blevins is a very dedicated biology teacher here at the 8/9, she doesn’t spend all of her time in the classroom. Some of the activities she enjoys doing in her spare time includes snowmobiling in the winter, and four wheeling in the summer. Her favorite colors are blue and red, and her favorite type of music to listen to is country. Another thing she loves to watch is Baseball. Her favorite sports team is none other than, the Colorado Rockies.

Ms. Blevins is not only a baseball loving Rockies fan, but a very dedicated biology teacher.  She is a very fun, but serious teacher who does her job well. While in her class she somehow makes learning a fun experience. I look forward to her class all day long. I think I speak for all of us here at the 8/9, we are very happy and proud to have a great teacher like Ms. Blevins at our school!
