B-Ball or Lax

Since the 1960s, professional baseball is our nation’s favorite sport. Baseball has become the most affordable and the least exploitative sport. Unlike football lacrosse and basketball, the baseball authorities actually pay a salary to most of the young men that they think have a serious chance of making a MLB roster, which shows that they give young people a better chance of making it big. The sport almost has everything, it has throwing catching running and it takes a huge amount of skill to hit a ball that is going in the upper 90 or even 100 miles of an hour. Some people may consider it dull and boring but in the end it was, and still is, and will probably stay Americas favorite sport and its original past time.

On the other hand; Lacrosse may be a full contact intense sport, but its players do not suffer as many head injuries as football players or the insane injuries that occur in hockey. I won’t lie; lax isn’t that popular but recently, however, lacrosse has begun to flourish at an international level with the sport establishing itself in many new and far-reaching countries manly in Europe and East Asia. Lacrosse is very fast-paced and other sports can drag on slowly. Also, if you’re into contact sports, it’s obvious to see that lacrosse is mainly whacking people and sports like baseball rarely has any contact and hitting.

Football and Baseball may be the most popular sports, hockey may be the most aggressive and soccer may be the sport that requires the most endurance but lacrosse, lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the nation and in my opinion the most fun to play and to watch. A lot of people don’t agree with me, but look at it; it has the hits and intensity of football and hockey. To play the sport you need to have the endurance of a soccer player and the skill and ability to score as a hockey player. It is a contact sport which requires padding and protective gear, but never the less it does protect its players. Anyways, although baseball is more popular, lacrosse is more intense much more fun to watch and defiantly more fun to play then baseball.
