Mr. Wilson has been all over the world, yet somehow he ended up here at fruita 8/9, with the classes of 8th and 9th graders. He says there has been so many places he has lived his life that there are too many to count, but he gave me some ideas. He was born in Warrington Europe, the U.K. He grew up with 2 sisters one 8 years older and the other 10 years older, Imagine that!
He grew up in Detroit and went to John Glenn high school in Westland Michigan in the suburbs of Detroit. His favorite subject was History. In High school he was involved in Wrestling, track, and cross country, He says he didn’t love school particularly but still, who does. Mr. Wilson held a 3.4 G.P.A in high school.
He went to college at Cleveland state university and Colorado Mesa University, He started teaching in 2003 and has taught in Cleveland 10th graders, Garfield county 9th graders, Colorado college freshman, and 8th and 9th grade here at fruita 8/9 for 2 years so far.
Mr. Wilson does not have any kids. But he enjoys traveling A LOT he said there’s a lot more places he wants to go to but for now let’s just stick to teaching. Some places he’s traveled include England, turkey, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Iraq, all over Europe, And counting. Let’s wish him Good Luck on his future trips Mr. Wilson.
