Plastic waste is not good. Plastic is getting in too are waters and polluting the oceans. Plastic can get into animals both on land and sea and will kill them and is not good for the environment.

Many ways plastic harms are wild life and ecosystems. A pelican named Pete ate 17 plastic bags and died. I’m not saying this happens to every animal but it seems to happen to a lot.
According to The Guardian, plastic waste is said to cost up to $33,000 per ton in reduced environmental value. In addition, an estimated 8 million tons of plastic pollution ends up in the oceans ever year.
Now if that doesn’t make you think about where you taxes are going idk what will because if you do put plastic in the recycle etc. you wouldn’t have to pay for it to cleaned up with your money.
