The question we all ask is that how are American people working to stop racial violence and how does racism impact all of society? Racism has gotten worse in the course of a few years and with the violence going on, people would only imagine how much worse it could get. People have been at each other’s throats for all the people that have died because of racism. The people who are looting and violating the law are the ones that are in the streets burning down things and ruining stores for other innocent people. This all started with the death of George Floyd which was caught on camera on May 5th 2020. A police officer had his knee on his neck and there were several officers watching and Floyd pleaded for the officer to get off him but the officer continued to have his knee on his neck and Floyd died in front of all those cops. The movement all started in 2012 in February when a 17 year old Trayvon Martin was walking home with his hood on doing nothing wrong. This had the people do peaceful protests due to the racists who were killing innocent Black people. Today has gone to the next level and people have been rioting and trying to get a word out to all of society. There can be another way of protesting and and spreading the word out because those people that want a change are killing the innocents out in the streets.
Racism has been going on for years and years and if society keeps that up we will continue to be divided and this racial division of all people will get worse. Harvard Business Review Group has made a statement about The United States “D. Van Zandt,” being in a crisis, Thousands of people have been vandalising and looting. This Will make an uproar and thousands of more people will join this movement because of the brutal racism act that innocent black people have to deal with. In the Harvard business review it states that there are more and more people getting involved in the movement and want to make a difference. Black people have had enough of the unequality treatment They have been getting. When people look into a police hurting black people they search and look for evidence of what that person did and don’t mind the abuse or unhuman like treatment that the black person is getting. For example the looting and vandalizing may be all bad in most people’s eyes, but they may be trying to get a message out there that black lives do matter and they are tired of the police brutality. While this may not be the best decision the black community couldn’t take any more harming and innocents dying for no reason but simply for their race.
This New York Times article has claimed that on June 6th at least 50 thousand people turned out in Philadelphia, 20 thousand in Chicago,and 10 thousand on the Golden Gate Bridge. Black People are more and more eager to change how the society is seeing black people and so the huge mobs of people there to support this movement are there to possibly get the word out.In the New York times Article by, Buchanan, Larry. Bui and Patel claim that this is the biggest movement in history and Millions of people have joined and it is becoming known worldwide. This will definitely impact a lot of the society because just in the year 2020 this all happened so people are wondering in a few months or years how it will impact everyone. Since 2013 there has been a big shift and Black Lives Matter movement has become broader. Public places and associations and some leagues of sports have played a big role. There have been a few players in the NFL that have kneeled for the National Anthem in support of the Black Lives Matter. The NBA has a lot of Players that believe and support The BLM movement.
The Players from NBA and NFL have gotten lots of hate and disagreements from millions of people. NBA Forward Lebron James and other 
players as well have supported this movement. In football a civil rights activist and a football quarterback who is a free agent kneeled for the national anthem because of police brutality and racial inequality. This shocked the world and people all around the world didn’t agree with what he had attempted. There are many crowds that agree with this movement and there are a lot that don’t agree and think this is not helping anyone.
From the Washington Post article By ( Reynolds, Barbara) He has claimed that in the movement there are demonstrations with hate speeches, profanity, and guys with sagging pants. The people have gone overboard and are grouping in streets and rioting. Reynolds says, “They can come into a protest March and demand a front seat or to jump on the front lines when the cameras are on.” This explains that they are not helping the situation and may be making the situation worse. By rioting the people are hurting others and protesting in an illegal way. Destroying property putting innocent lives in danger. The people who are protesting have hatred in their faces and are angry with what the world has become.
In conclusion The American people haven’t been able to do much about racial violence but the impact of how society was affected by this movement has been a tremendous amount. We are all humans we should know how to treat each other and know we all bleed the same and if we all come together this world would be a much better place for all of us. It is great to be different with different cultures and if we all accept that we can all have a peaceful world. Our world and this generation may not ever be perfect but We can do the simple things and treat every human as an equal as a human no matter the race, culture, or their background.
