YT bikes vs Santa Cruz bikes
I will compare two enduro bikes around the same price range. The bike for YT is the Capra elite and the bike for Santa Cruz will be the Megatower s. Both bikes are 6000$ and are the 2021 model.
The Capra has a Fox 38 factory front shock paired with a Fox float x2 factory rear shock. Along with the E13 Lg1 race en carbon wheels with a Maxxis Minion DHR2 and a Maxxis assegai. The Megatower has a Fox 36 float performance front shock paired with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock. Along with the Race Face AR Offset 30 wheels and the Maxxis Assegai front tire and a Maxxis Minion DHR2 rear tire.
The shocks, tires, and wheels are all pretty similar, but for the shifting and breaks, the Capra takes the cake. The Capra has one of Sram’s best drivetrains, the Eagle X01. Paired with the Sram Code RSC, 4 piston breaks, giving you all the stopping power you need. The Mega tower has a Sram GX Eagle drivetrain and the Sram Code R breaks.
