Why Christmas is the best holiday!!

When I think of Christmas I think of the glimmering decorations, family visiting, skiing, the music, grandma’s food, and so much more. Christmas is honestly the best holiday, you get the feeling of making people happy, Spreading joy with gifts and even your own presence. It’s the season of giving! Whether it’s your family or friends you’re celebrating the love you have for the people in your life.

No other holiday has a cultural impact quite like Christmas. As soon as Thanksgiving is finished, families around the world set up their Christmas lights and trees and begin playing Christmas music. Not only does this prove its the best holiday it proves its the most popular holiday by far. People celebrate it for a whole month while other holidays get one or two days of celebration. You can’t think of Christmas and not think of Santa. Santa is a character that brings joy to children all around the world.

Some people could disagree though. As you grow up in some cases you move away from family and you start your own life. For a while it could just be you. No one else. It can definitely get lonely and might lower your spirits. The word holiday starts to mean something different than it did when you were a kid.

I believe there’s a pro to every con. This doesn’t just apply to this example, it applies to anything. Even if you’re without family, friends still count. Whoever you’re surrounded by in your life is obviously important, and important people matter. Just putting a smile on a stranger’s face can maybe even brighten your mood.

In conclusion, what I’m trying to get out of this is that Christmas is about kindness and the spread of joy. The smallest acts can change someone’s day, you never know what someone else is going through so always be nice. Take advantage of the holidays you have with family because you won’t have that for the rest of your life.

Merry Christmas;)
