Why Dirt Bikes are better than Quads.

Dirt Bikes are better than Quads because they are way less sketchy on trails, they are way more mobile, they are lighter, and dirt bikes are a little cheaper. Coming from my perspective, quads are harder to go down things and up things, if you don’t get a special part for your quad where if you hit something it wont yank the handle bars you will either crash or mess up your hands. Dirt bikes are not like that, they are way less sketchy and easier to do obstacles with. For example, I flipped a quad on myself a few months back on a pretty sketchy trail but on the same hill it was way easier on a dirt bike. It may differ for different people but working on dirt bikes is also way easier than on quads because there are less bolts and things you need to take out.

 

 Although, everyone can jump  literally anything but the landing is what gets people, dirt bikes just feel way more natural in the air and easier to control. Like I was saying about dirt bikes being more mobile, I was talking about loading them up and taking them somewhere in a truck. Let’s say you have two dirt bikes you want to take to the track well, a normal sized truck would be able to take two dirt bikes, but if you wanted to take a quad it may not even fit or barely fit with no extra room.

Although a dirt bike and a quad may have the same engine, the bike will have more power because of the weight ratio. Racing wise, dirt bikes are way better than quads because they can take corners easier and faster, dirt bikes are easier to perform tricks and stunts racing and in competition. Dirt bikes are way more fuel efficient because they generally have smaller engines or weaker you could say therefore fuel is cheaper and more efficient. Dirt bikes are also easier to maintain and keep up with unlike quads.

 

When it comes to trail riding, dirt bikes can make it into almost every trail, quads are a bit harder. Also, dirt bikes are easier to go through tight spaces unlike quads; it may be a little more sketchy. Both have their reasons why they are better but overall these are the reasons why dirt bikes are better than quads and there is no question about it.
