You may have heard about an amazing singer and songwriter named Harry Styles. But what do you really know about him? Where did he grow up? What made him so popular? Will he reply to your DMs? Well, I can answer most of those questions but he is extremely busy and may not get a chance to reply to your DMs! Harry has evolved so much through the years and has become such an iconic figure for many.
Harry Edward Styles was born February first, 1994 in Redditch, England. To be exact, 12:06 AM. All growing up his parents knew he would make it far, even then he loved performing for his family at every chance he got! Even his first word was unordinary; Harry claims his first word was none other than “cat”. His mother worked hard to provide the best for him and his sister! In his teen years he made a band with some classmates. This band was called “White Eskimo’s” where Harry was the lead singer. Harry worked at a bakery until he auditioned for the X Factor, where his career truly began to take off.
Harry first began his ride to fame in 2010 when he auditioned for the X factor by himself singing “Isn’t she lovely” by Stevie Wonder, instead Simon put him in a group of 5. This included Zayn Malik, Louis (Louie) Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and of course Harry Styles. The band practically blew up over night! During their stay on the X factor they made it all the way to the final weekend but sadly finished third and Matt Cardle ended up winning. But that didn’t stop their career! Many fans got upset about their loss and boycotted the X factor! The band continued to grow and came out with 5 albums from 2011 to 2015. Although they came to have such a close bond the boys had more and more arguments with each other and management. This led to them breaking up in January 2016. They claimed it would be an eight month break but they still haven’t reunited.
That didn’t stop him though! Harry has since released many incredible songs. Such as Watermelon Sugar which was released in 2019 and made its way to the number one spot on billboard. In total he has 10 singles that became huge hits! Currently he only has 2 albums but it’s rumored that he will be releasing his third soon. He turned 28 this year and his fans, also known as “Stylers” went crazy about it ! He is most loved by his fans for his moving voice and the whale (a trick he does with water). He has a total of about 52 tattoos ranging from a butterfly on his chest to an anchor, and even a Packers tattoo which he admittedly regrets. Harry has two siblings, Gemma styles and his step brother, Mike Twist. Word has spread that Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have been dating since January 2021. Which is just months after the 38 year old split from her ex, Jason Sudeikis. 
At the end of the day, Harry has gone through a lot in his 28 years but he doesn’t let that hold him back. Although we don’t know why he is, I suspect it’s from his incredible mother and those who helped him become comfortable with himself and who helped him grow. And despite the fact many before him gave up, he kept on going not only for himself but as well because he knew all the people he’s helped by being himself! Many people still think he is just “ the Hair” from a dismembered band but if anyone takes even a few minutes to know him and why he does what he does, they’ll see the amazing person behind the incredible career. All in all, remember to treat people with kindness!
