This week I am writing a biography on one of our F8/9 teachers, Mr.Mckee. Mr.Mckee teaches human geography, Law ed, and also service learning. He has been here for one year. He also coaches football at Palisade. Teaching is a hard job and takes a lot of work, but Mr.Mckee is a great teacher and keeps a lot of students under control every day. In Mr.Mckee’s classes you will learn about the world in human geography, The laws in the U.S. In Law Ed, and how to be a helpful positive and strong leader in your community in Service Learning.
Mr.Mckee was born in Greeley and lived there until he was 5. As a kid Mr.Mckee was very active and he was outside a lot. Basketball, Baseball, Football, Hunting, Fishing, and Camping kept him outside most of his free time. Later, he moved and attended Cedar Ridge High School. After his years in high school he moved on to go to Western State, and Mesa State. He worked at many other schools before coming here to Fruita 8/9 in 2012. He wanted to work here because of the great community, great kids, and the best computer tech teacher ever.
Mr.Mckee was very active and played 3 sports. He played Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He spent most of his time outside, playing all of these sports. Mr.Mckee enjoyed spending most of his time camping, fishing, hunting, and playing sports. Mr.Mckee has one younger sister, that im sure was very active outside with Mr.Mckee. After college Mr.Mckee got married and had 3 kids. Two girls and one boy. Mr.Mckee is now very involved in school activities. The service learning class he teaches participates in many school activities, and runs fundraisers throughout the school.
