Ms. Myers a teacher at fruita 8/9 is on her 4th year teaching and now I’m going to tell you about her. Ms. Myers grew up in golden Colorado which is west of Denver she lived there up until after high school. She moved here right after she got done with collage. She also has a younger brother that she is somewhat close to. In addition to Ms. Myers loves to cook, bike, and ski with her family.
For high school Ms. Myers went to golden high school home of the demons. She was also the last graduating class of the old high school before the new high school. Some sports she played in high school were soccer, lacrosse, and she also played the saxophone for marching band. Also in high school she was actively involved in FCCLA which is a leadership club. She would also compete in interior design competition events. She was always busy during high school playing all of the sports and being in different clubs.
In collage Ms. Myers went to CSU- Colorado state university in Fort Collins. While she was at CSU she got her bachelors in family and consumer sciences and education. Also while she was in collage she played sports, she played field hockey. Now while she is teaching she is going to school at CMU for her masters in exceptional leaner and special education. Now I’ll tell you about why she wanted to be a teacher. Ms. Myers wanted to be a teacher because she wanted follow the footsteps of her high school teacher Mr. Westerkamp. Also she wanted to be a teacher because she loves working with teens. Now you know a little about Ms. Myers and how she grew up and how she became a teacher.
