Mrs. Lipson

 

Mrs. Lipson is a teacher at Fruita 8/9 school and has been teaching for 15 years. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. There she remembers the cool weather of the city. It was always cold she said. She had four younger brothers and would always play games with them. Ice skating was one thing she enjoyed there growing up, along with playing games with her brothers. Electricity would go out often, but it wasn’t too bad. Later on in life she attended school at Pomona High school in Arvada, Colorado. Her favorite class there was European history, and she remembers going out on trips a lot in this food group she was in. They traveled many places and met wonderful tastes. She had a couple jobs before she became a teacher. She worked at Hobby Lobby, and was a waitress a little bit after school. When college came around, she attended both Colorado University and ASU for a little while. Her favorite course was French history. Mrs. Lipson enjoys the staff here at Fruita 8/9 and she loves the kids as well, saying they are very respectful and involved with the community around them.
