I enjoy a lot of teachers at Fruita 8/9, but my favorite teacher is Mrs. Beach. She is funny, caring and will not only be a great teacher but also a trusted adult you can talk to. She always wants the best for her students and helps them improve their skills.
Mrs. Beach grew up in Grand Junction and had 1 older sister. As a kid she enjoyed playing softball and basketball. She had 2 dogs, a poodle and a golden retriever. Her favorite memory from growing up was going snowmobiling and spending time with her family.
She went to Central High School, and continued to play softball and basketball throughout high school. Her favorite subject was science although she teaches math, and her favorite thing about high school was making great memories with her friends and having the experience. She then graduated from Central High School and went to college at Adams State University, and then graduated at CMU.
Now, Mrs. Beach is on her 18th year of teaching here at Fruita, and she has 2 sons. Outside of school she loves running, hunting, and going to her families rodeos. She obviously teaches math and enjoys it, but if she were to teach a different subject, she would definitely teach science. Over the summer she didn’t do much, but she did go to New Mexico to see her dad.
Overall, Mrs. Beach is an amazing teacher and role model who will make you laugh and be someone trustworthy you can talk to. She’s also really good at math!
