Positive effects of gaming

 When you play games do you think about the positive side effects? Probably not but here are so Some positive side effects. Some positive side effects include improving basic visual processes by being able to tell the difference between different shades of grey, known as visual contrast sensitivity. Visual contrast sensitivity is  a measure of the ability to tell the difference from the objects in the background to the objects close to you. 

 

Gaming also helps ease anxiety and depression as it gives you dopamine. Dopamine impacts mood regulation, muscle movement, sleep patterns and appetite. 

 

Video games can also help executive functioning (completely based on the types of games you play) which is the ability to find different or new solutions to problems you are faced with.
