Russian vs. Ukraine debate

according to (This text) Russia has a vast standing army (the world’s fifth biggest), with some 900,000 active personnel and a further two million reservists, compared to Ukraine’s 196,000 active troops. Therefore if there were to be a all out war Russia would kick butt

Although I don’t support Russia I do think with this upper hand they will get what they want

  1. You do make a good point, although Ukraine has started recruiting citizens to help fight and even if only one tenth of the population started fighting the ukraine would gain 4,413,00 more troops even if those people arent trained as well as they could be it still gives them a substantial upper hand.

    1. if Russia were to do that as well they would get one hundred forty-five million troops and still have a large number of bombs.

      1. although not likely it is true, that Russia did indeed start recruiting their own civilians they would have a staggering amount of troops, and Ukraine would surely lose. Another possibility is that other nations step in to help Ukraine, this probably won’t happen though because of Russia’s threat of nuclear war if other nations intervene. there are so many different possibilities and outcomes for this situation, only time will tell how it ends.
